Terms of Use

1Agreement

By creating an account or using Speak Better (the "app") you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be 18 or older.

2What the app is

Speak Better is an AI practice coach for conversations and speaking. Role-play partners and feedback are generated by AI and are simulated. They can be wrong or imperfect, and they are not professional, medical, legal, psychological or relationship advice.

3Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account or via this page.

4Free use and subscriptions

• New accounts get one free practice session. Unlimited use requires Speak Better Pro.
• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly), billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) at the price shown before you buy.
• Where a free trial is offered it is available once per account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends, the subscription renews and you are charged for the next period.
• Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel billing.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

5Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no automated scraping, and no using it to create harassing, hateful, sexual or illegal content. We may suspend accounts that do.

6Your content

You keep ownership of what you say and type. You give us permission to process it (including through our AI providers, listed in the Privacy Policy) only to run the app for you.

7Our content

The app, its lessons, lines, voices and design belong to DelivExpress Technologies. You may use them for your personal practice only.

8No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

9Apple users

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and DelivExpress Technologies, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and Apple's standard licence terms also apply.

10Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept them. Questions: hello@delivaexpress.africa.
